Official Coahoma County docket and record questions belong with the court clerk that has custody of the file. This page identifies the proper public contact for Circuit and County Court records and distinguishes it from the separate Chancery, Justice, and municipal routes. It also explains the limited role of this private reference source.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This private reference source cannot retrieve an official docket, change a setting, remove or seal a case, issue a certified copy, or give legal advice. Direct those needs to the court or clerk with the actual file.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Use the following routes for common Coahoma County requests:

  • A docket sheet: use case lookup for covered MEC records or request the register from the custodian
  • A court date or setting: review court dates, then confirm the active setting with the court
  • Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
  • A specific case: use a case lookup with the narrowest identifier available
  • Court records and case files: use court record search to identify the correct clerk and record type

For Circuit and County Court docket sheets, filings, and judgments, contact Demetria Jackson, Coahoma County Circuit Clerk, 115 First Street, Clarksdale, MS 38614, (662) 624-3014. The office lists regular hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except legal holidays. Chancery records require the separate Chancery Clerk, and Justice or municipal records require their own clerks.
