Why We Built This Site
Mississippi public-record rules and court procedures provide routes to many docket and case-file materials, yet the first question is still custody. Coahoma County Circuit Clerk Demetria Jackson keeps Circuit and County Court filings. Chancery Clerk Sherita Wilson holds the separate domestic, estate, land, guardianship, and equity record sets. Justice Court and municipal clerks keep their own lower-court records. Mississippi Electronic Courts offers account-based access to covered Circuit and County Court material, while the 7th Chancery calendar is a different scheduling tool. Those distinctions make a broad search less useful than a correctly routed request.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket routes: how criminal docket searches and civil docket searches differ by court
- Settings: how to use court dates as an orientation tool and confirm a hearing with the court
- Case location: how a case lookup works through MEC/PAMEC and when a separate clerk is needed
- Copies: how court record searches lead to the custodian who can issue a plain or certified copy
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference source. It has no connection to a Mississippi court, clerk, or government agency. Its limits are important:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that a phone number, fee, or setting remains current after a court changes it
Only the clerk or court that keeps a case can issue its official or certified copy. A portal result, calendar entry, or private reference cannot replace that record.
Search Partners
Some pages include search tools supplied by third parties. Their availability, charges, and results are controlled by those providers. A paid registration or result offered by a third party does not establish that the provider is a court custodian, and it does not replace verification with the clerk.
